Huge Oslo weekend post

So, we spent the weekend in Oslo to see the city and A Place to Bury Strangers.
The city was nice and neat and super compact... The distances were so short, it's crazy. The club where the concert was at was literally around the corner from our hotel. We ran back to the hotel between bands for vodka shots. Because, yeahhh, the downside is that everything's so expensive. At least for those of us who don't have Norwegian salaries.
WARNING: loads of (possibly boring) pictures coming up....
...
So, first order of business... The former premises of the legendary Helvete.

An appropriate coffin.
Totally not posing.
Nope, still not posing...
...
And in Neseblod record shop that is located above the cellar.
It was so packed with stuff, it was almost impossible to browse the records or shirts.
...
Birds squatting on statue heads.
....
The Oslo City Hall.

Legendary scenes from Nordic mythology.
...
Thor with his... huge... hammer.
...
The port! The sea, the sunshine... aaaah.
...
A Place to Bury Strangers! Fabulous gig, such a great performance and fabulous (and unknown) support band zZz.
Sorry for phone camera quality.
...
Sunday was museum day. Here we are a bit tired after the visit to museum of modern art.
So tired.
...
And this is in front of the Mini Bottle Gallery. Don't ask...
...

Game of Thrones theme song playing in the background...
...
And to sum it up, a few stories from the Louise Bourgeois exhibition in the museum of modern art.
